VW CADDY AUTO HEADLIGHT SWITCH

• This Auto Headlight Switch is not compatible with factory Xenons
• When testing the auto function make sure to cover up the sensor with a thick black cloth as using your finger means that you aren’t blocking infrared light.
• On some models the homecoming feature will activate the lights left on warning when entering or exiting the vehicle. This is perfectly normal and will turn off once door is closed/ lights turn off
• Sensor is internal so if lights inside the van are turned on when dark the headlights will turn off!

By default, homecoming lights will be set to on. This function only works when the switch is set to auto. 

Once you remove your keys from the ignition and it’s dark outside your sidelights will remain on for a short amount of time
