Here it is!!!! It's August's van of the month.
We love this van and so when it was entered we felt it was only right it became our van of the month. I won't ramble on...let's here from the owner:
Hi I’m Matt and this is my 99’ T4 Caravelle, which I bought in 2018, pretty much stock when I got it! Since owning it I’ve carried out a full self built conversion in the back, it’s got new shape Scirocco front seats on lowered bases so it’s like a car driving position! It’s had the full lowering stick thanks to Shane Phillips at Scarface Lowriders. Having a double front notch, custom mounts / drop links, extended torsion bar threads, relocated brake lines / handbrake cable, GAZ ultra low shocks all round on 4'' Faulkner’s. It’s currently riding on 17s 7.5j et42 on 205 45 17 front, 8.5j et40 on 215 40 17 rear. Had a 7 page feature in Dec 2019 VWT Magazine! Engine is (ajt) 88bhp stock, now running 165bhp thanks to volvo v70 injectors, hybrid kkk turbo, custom full stainless turbo back exhaust, egr delete, piper cross panel filter, blacktop camshaft lifters, stage 1 remap, stage 3 clutch.
Next on the cards is back up to Scarface HQ to have engine raised and shallower sump guard made!
