July Van Of The Month

This month seems to have gone really fast! It's Van of the Month time again already. Last months winner was Chaz's T5 which we loved for it's cool commercial look. You can read about it here.

This month has been another tough one and there was two vans especially that we were stuck between. However we have seen this van in person and it really is as immaculate as it looks in the pictures, we can totally appreciate how much hard work goes into getting an older van that's used as a daily looking this tidy. So this months winner is.........

What Matt has to say.......

"In 2012 I bought this ex plumbers van, from a local VW specialist that had it as a trade in. It was pretty beaten up bodywork wise and bare inside. But it was an 888 special, limited edition x-pack series so the base was there for a great van.

In the years to come it has been fully carpeted and insulated, rock and roll bed, two tone respray, and countless alloy wheels! The US spec orange indicators are probably my favourite mod. Super hard to come by.

It’s currently VWbus magazine van of the year which was something I’d never have even considered as it’s not a full campervan.

Being a drummer I still need the space to fit all the equipment in, and it does weekly gigs, the school runs, as well as to work and back.

I love that it’s my daily, but can still be a show winning van."
